PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Twin Impact Foundation’s Internships Program offers international students and young professionals the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in healthcare and education in Ghana. Our program provides a unique cultural immersion experience, allowing participants to develop valuable skills, build their network, and make a meaningful contribution to our community.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
- Provide international students and young professionals with practical experience in healthcare and education.
- Enhance cultural understanding and exchange between participants and local communities.
- Support the development of Ghana’s healthcare and education sectors.
- Foster partnerships between Twin Impact Foundation and international universities, organizations, and institutions.
PROGRAM COMPONENTS
- Internship Placement: Participants are matched with healthcare or educational institutions in Ghana, based on their interests, skills, and qualifications.
- Pre-Departure Orientation: Participants receive comprehensive information about Ghana, the internship program, and cultural adaptation.
- On-Site Support: Participants are provided with accommodation, meals, and transportation, as well as ongoing support and supervision throughout their internship.
- Cultural Immersion Activities: Participants engage in cultural activities, such as language classes, traditional cooking, and community events.
- Reflection and Evaluation: Participants reflect on their experiences and complete evaluations to help improve the program.
ELIGIBILITY AND REQUIREMENTS
- Age: 18-30 years old
- Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a university or college
- Language: Proficient in English
- Health and Safety: Meet Ghana’s health and safety requirements
- Commitment: Minimum 4-week commitment
APPLICATION AND SELECTION PROCESS
- Application: Submit application form, CV, and personal statement
- Review: Applications reviewed by Twin Impact Foundation’s selection committee
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates participate in a video or phone interview
- Selection: Successful candidates notified and provided with program details
FEES AND FUNDING
- Program Fee: $ [amount] per week
