PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Twin Impact Foundation’s Internships Program offers international students and young professionals the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in healthcare and education in Ghana. Our program provides a unique cultural immersion experience, allowing participants to develop valuable skills, build their network, and make a meaningful contribution to our community.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

  1. Provide international students and young professionals with practical experience in healthcare and education.
  2. Enhance cultural understanding and exchange between participants and local communities.
  3. Support the development of Ghana’s healthcare and education sectors.
  4. Foster partnerships between Twin Impact Foundation and international universities, organizations, and institutions.

PROGRAM COMPONENTS

  1. Internship Placement: Participants are matched with healthcare or educational institutions in Ghana, based on their interests, skills, and qualifications.
  2. Pre-Departure Orientation: Participants receive comprehensive information about Ghana, the internship program, and cultural adaptation.
  3. On-Site Support: Participants are provided with accommodation, meals, and transportation, as well as ongoing support and supervision throughout their internship.
  4. Cultural Immersion Activities: Participants engage in cultural activities, such as language classes, traditional cooking, and community events.
  5. Reflection and Evaluation: Participants reflect on their experiences and complete evaluations to help improve the program.

ELIGIBILITY AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Age: 18-30 years old
  • Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a university or college
  • Language: Proficient in English
  • Health and Safety: Meet Ghana’s health and safety requirements
  • Commitment: Minimum 4-week commitment

APPLICATION AND SELECTION PROCESS

  1. Application: Submit application form, CV, and personal statement
  2. Review: Applications reviewed by Twin Impact Foundation’s selection committee
  3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates participate in a video or phone interview
  4. Selection: Successful candidates notified and provided with program details

FEES AND FUNDING

  • Program Fee: $ [amount] per week
  • What’s Included: Accommodation, meals, transportation, internship placement, and on-site support
  • Scholarships and Funding: Available for eligible participants; details provided upon request

PROGRAM SCHEDULE

  • Program Duration: Minimum 4 weeks, maximum 12 weeks
